HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

At Discover Chiropractic, we offer Austin TX chiropractic care to improve each patient’s health. We also know that your time and money are valuable. Therefore, we do our best to keep each chiropractic appointment as effective and affordable as possible. The average cost for an office visit is $60. Many patients’ insurance plans will help subsidize this cost.

Some patients will require x-rays and additional therapies. We will always be up front and notify a patient of any additional cost before the service is rendered. We do offer military and student discounts.

Do You Accept Insurance?

Yes! We are in-network with most major health insurance companies including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Humana, Sendero Ideal Care, and OSCAR. As required by health insurance companies, we bill our fees per procedure so your costs will be dependant upon your plans’ coverage.

How Long Will My Appointment Last?

Your first appointment should take about 30 minutes. If you print and fill out your forms ahead of time it will save you time here.

Follow-up appointments generally take under 10-15 minutes. Our office and staff are highly efficient and don’t like to waste anyone’s time.

What Techniques Does The Doctor Specialize In?

Dr. Clark specializes in the Specific Prone Technique, a gentle, effective way to release tension from the spine and nervous system and improve motion and overall function of the spine. He is knowledgeable in several chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Thompson and Upper Cervical.

Will I Feel Sore After My Appointment?

Maybe. Most people come into the office with conditions that have been progressively worsening til they finally make an appointment. The sooner you come in and begin treatment, the less soreness and pain you’ll have to endure.

My Treatment Plan Is Over, Now What/Do I Have To Keep Coming Forever/I Feel Great, Why Do I Need To Keep Coming?

Once we get a patient stable and out of pain, it’s up to the individual to determine what’s best for them. Most of our patients feel the benefits of chiropractic care and choose to come in for adjustments once every 2-4 weeks for maintenance of their spines.

Why Would I Need X-Rays?

Use of x-rays is determined on an individual basis. To offer our patient’s the best care possible, we have a top of the line digital x-ray machine in our Austin TX chiropractic care office.

Can I Adjust Myself?

We recommend home exercises and stretches appropriate for each individual patient. When it comes to spinal manipulation, it’s always best to let a professional adjust your spine.

When Can I Expect To Feel Better?

Every patient is different. Many are fast responders and improve in the first few visits, some take longer. Of course, we wish everyone got better fast. But as long as you get better we are happy.
