Getting out and being active is fantastic for your overall health and wellness! However, it can be a shock to the system if you’re been sitting around all winter. Hydration

Stay Hydrated

Keep your spinal discs hydrated to allow your spine to function at its best!

The bones in your spine are cushioned by spinal discs. These discs must be properly hydrated in order to do their job and allow your spine to function at its best. So, make sure to drink plenty of water, at least half your body weight in ounces, each day this summer. Remember to drink even more water if you’re out in the hot sun and losing fluids through sweat. When the weather outside isn’t so great, people tend to make a lot of excuses for why they don’t get more movement into their day. Now that it’s summer, that excuse no longer works! Sunscreen helps protect you from those harmful UV rays and reduces the odds of cancer. In addition, it helps to protect against wrinkles and discoloration, preserving your youthful!
